.....and where should I begin because there lots to tell because I had a blast not only with the GL, AMC & ATWT Stars but there were some interesting highlights throughtout this trip believe. So I think I'll go by days & I will be posting sonme of these things on other boards that per say pertain more towards them so it will be a bit different in away if you read it there as well. Also, I will be saying personal thank you's & catching up with the spoilers in between this all. So please don't be suprised by this in that section of the board.
So as you know I left on last Wed. & got into Fort Meyers, FL on last Thurs. afternoon. So then I took a taxi down to Naples were I was staying & I was like 5 minutes away from where the golf tournament & brunch was being held. I actually took taxi's throught out this trip & it made it fun & there will be some interesting stories on these times. So checked in, got in my room & then the power went out. I was thinking great way to start my vacation....LOL Lucky for me their back up went on. So then I slept for like 6 hours because I had been traveling for like half a day & the time difference as well. So then I got up, ate & watch TV. This was basically a resting day but I went back to sleep but really couldn't because I think I was still on Hawaii time.
So on Friday, I got up & went to eat breakfast because they have complimentary breakfast everyday. So after that I decided to go to Downtown Naples to go shopping. So I took a taxi there & it like 7 minutes away. I have to say they have really nice cacb drivers. So I went shopping & bought my mom a Mother's day gift & a bunch of other things. Then I walked over to another street where they had more shops. Naples itself has these neat shoppings areas. They have lots boutiques & cute shops. BTW, it was super hot & it was a bit humid. It was hotter then it was here! So then I decided to go to the beach. So Naples is on the Gulf of Mexico & they have this peir you can walk on. So I did that & they have people fishing, feeding the pelicans & even saw some dolphins. I did take pictures while I was there. Then got somethging to drink & just sat on the bench looking at the water. Just enjoying & taking the time to relax in the moment because sometimes you don't have time to do these type of things but you should make the time to. So then I went back to the shopping areas & had an ice cream cone. Then called for a taxi. So then I was on my way back to where I was staying & I noticed the cab drivers shirt. Believe it or not it was an Aloha Shirt. What we call a tack tourist one. So I asked him did get you from Hawaii? He said no but from a store here. He likes them because they are comfortable. So we talked more & said he moved from Michigan last August to there. Also that he rather pay for the air conditioning bill than for the heating bill. So I told him I was Hawaii & he should come there one of theses days. So when we got back to place we introduce ourselves & his name is Gordon. So then I rested for awhile. Then I went to the Pairings Party on Marco Island. So I got there by taxi & we found the place. I actually was there about 7 years ago & saw where I stayed there before along the way. So I got to the party & Maureen Garrett, Frank D., Beth Chamberlain, Brittany Snow, Marj Dusay, Liz Keifer & a bunch of other sports celebs. I did get this gropu shot that they were posing for though. Some of the others including Jordi were not there because there was this storm & they were stuck in NY for like several hours. I heard this when I got there. I got to talk to Brittany & told her we missed her & good luck on her new project from all of us. She misses us too & says hi to everybody. She said she just shot the pilot in Canada & should know if it gets picked up by May 15th but more on this later. If so it will be filming in LA. Also, on-line friend & her husband & we were talking to Brittany's mom about Laura's Play because she was wondering what she was up too. So it was fun & we ate & drank a lot. Also, Frank's wife & two kid where there & both Liz's & Beth"s husbands. So then I was waiting for a taxi to come pic me up & I over heard a conversation about the ones being stuck in NYC & Jordi was mentioned & talked to because they were trying to get them down there. So it pays to be in the right place at the right time. I did get a bit of tan & burnt as well from earlier in the day.
I will be posting more on what happened more on the next two days & it gets good. Though I will tell you I did take my film in already & I took like 4 rolls of film so something has to come out out of that. So I might get these back by Friday or on the weekend at the last so be on the lookout for that.
Also, there will be something special that will be on-line in a couple of special places & it should be soon. I'm not going to tell you what it is because it is that good & I'm telling you now instead of in my next post. So be on the lookout for it & believe me it will be better than any scoop on what will happen on the show. I may know when it will come for a certain reason. Just let me tell you this was bought up & said to me this past weekend at least twice & talked about in depth because it wants to be done. I didn't have to bring it up. You will know when it happens & I'm sure you love it! So please don't ask me what it is because it's that good & very special!! I though maybe able to speed it up a bit & I'll let you know if I hear word on this.
